Water Projects

Overview

Our Projects

Access to clean drinking water is a major problem across the African continent. Since 2004, Morecom has been active in the water sector in Ghana, having assisted with the implementation of water treatment and distribution projects across the country from Greater Accra to Kumasi to the Upper East region.

Upper East Region Water Supply Project

The project was initiated by the Government of Ghana to help address the perennial water supply challenges of the region, especially in Bolgatanga, Navrongo, Paga, Bongo and their surrounding environs. The project is being implemented in two phases, with the first phase currently underway and expected to be completed by the end of 2021. Phase II is expected to commence in Q2-2021.

The project, on completion, will provide potable water to a number of communities including Bolgatanga, Bongo, Navrongo, and Paga.
